While the legislature is not currently in session, interim committees are meeting to discuss a number of critical issues, and legislation is being drafted for the next legislation for next session. I want to get you input about legislative priorities and make sure you know how to get in touch with me with questions or concerns.

Please rank the following issues in order of importance with 1 being the most important and 7 being the least important to the future of our state.

	Improving our schools to help better prepare students for today’s jobs.
	Higher teacher salaries and more dollars into the classroom
	Making health care more affordable, particularly deductibles and health insurance premiums
	Protecting Nevadans, particularly senior citizens, from economic scams that rob them of their financial security
	Development of renewable energy to reduce our dependence on foreign oil
	Better communication and coordination among all levels of government
	Improving traffic safety
