CONTRIBUTE
 As
a volunteer in the community, I've relied on my hard work and the help of others
to get the job done. In many ways, that's exactly how I will campaign as well.
Yet, I have to
face it: running for public office costs money. Everything from a simple business
card to this website costs money.
Supporters want
to display a yard sign for me, and each of those costs about $4.50. Even using
the most efficient mail handling, each piece costs over 34 cents, and there are
nearly 15,000 voter households here in Assembly District 1.
We have a tight
budget, use volunteers effectively, and watch every penny, but it still takes
money to wage a successful campaign. Your donation of $25, $50 or $100 makes a
big difference to this effort. Any amount helps, and every donation from people
like you underscores the fact this is a grassroots campaign which counts on our
friends and neighbors for its success.
